Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are currently undertaking their royal tour of southern Africa with baby Archie. But back home in the United Kingdom, the royals quietly had a major win over a publication that reportedly made false claims about the couple.

The Sun newspaper reported in April that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had requested changes to the location of a car park used by staff of Windsor Castle. The Sun's sources claimed that the royals objected to staff members parking in the area, which allegedly overlooked Frogmore Cottage.

However, the publication has now been forced to apologize to Meghan and Harry, after the couple lodged a complaint with the Independent Press Standards Organisation over the report's inaccuracy, according to Press Gazette.

In an apology published on their website on September 29, The Sun explained, "An article headlined 'NOT IN MEG BACK YARD' (12 April) reported that the Duke & Duchess of Sussex had banned staff from using a car park near Frogmore Cottage."

The apology continued, "We now accept that the parking changes were not requested by the Duke & Duchess. We are happy to correct the record and apologize for any distress caused."

Per Press Gazette, "The Sun was therefore found in breach of Clause 1 (accuracy) of the Editors' Code of Practice."
